inwardBOUND’s Drama CCA programmes provide structured, skill-based drama education tailored to each school’s unique culture and student profile. Led by experienced trainers and supported by specialists in voice, movement, devising, and storytelling, our programmes go beyond performance—developing leadership, expression, and team collaboration.

Students explore applied theatre, improvisation, and storytelling while preparing for showcases, school orientations, or the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF). CCA leaders can also attend our Facilitators Camp to build leadership and mentoring skills, while our re:ACT VIA Camps empower students to create performances for social impact.

Our Achievements

DIRECTING COLLABORATIVE THEATRE

Students step into the role of directors and theatre-makers, learning how to devise an original performance from scratch. Over 30 hours, they explore stimuli such as text, objects, and sound to create a new theatrical work. This module sharpens their collaboration, leadership, and creative problem-solving skills while preparing them for SYF or school productions with an authentic ensemble-driven process.

RE:ACT FESTIVAL CREATION

The re:ACT Festival is inwardBOUND’s flagship holiday drama project, designed as a natural extension of your CCA programme. Running during the school holiday period, it gives students an immersive, project-based opportunity to devise interactive performances in collaboration with community partners — from youth groups to seniors.

As an NAC-endorsed programme for over a decade, re:ACT offers schools a turnkey solution that combines holiday enrichment, VIA objectives, and authentic performance opportunities. Many schools extend their CCA into the holidays through re:ACT, allowing students to experience theatre-making that is socially relevant, creative, and deeply memorable

STAGE CRAFT

Every strong performance requires a solid grounding in stagecraft. This module introduces CCA students to the essentials of technical theatre and production, including stage blocking, sets, props, lighting, and sound. Through a blend of practical workshops and guided discussions, students gain the confidence to stage performances that look polished and professional — whether for SYF, school musicals, or internal showcases.
