WHAT PEOPLE SAY
SUHAILY SUPAHAN,
TEACHER, JURONGVILLE SECONDARY
I was very impressed with the teamwork from the company. Everyone came down to help in pushing and motivating the students. Everything was delivered; from sourcing of production to organizing and providing help for teachers. Very surprising for a drama company. Really trust the professionalism...
Director and trainers are knowledgeable about their craft and professional in their work. They are accommodating and acceded to requests and ideas from the school. They were able to engage the students and push them to their limits. In the process, the students learnt and improved in their skills and built resilience.
JOSH WONG,
TEACHER, CEDAR GIRLS' SECONDARY
Both Principal and Vice-Principal commended on the well-conceived plot that touched the hearts of many. The mother and daughter relationship resonated with members of the audience...
CINDY BEH,
TEACHER, XINMIN SECONDARY
GERALD CHEW,
JUDGE, SYF 2009, on
RIVER VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
A fine example of form following function. The performance style perfectly embodied the content, unfolding at a cracking pace: it was an achievement...
LEONG MAY LIN,
ADJUDICATOR, SYF 2011, on
CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
The transformation of "Ah Gong" from a young char kway teow seller into a grandfather is one of the best moments in this festival...
JEREMIAH CHOY
JUDGE, SYF 2011, on
ORCHID PARK SECONDARY
Amazingly, the actors understood and delivered the lines with a good sense of timing, pacing and awareness of space. They worked their lines well, delivered the punch lines and completely had us laughing from the start to the end of the play. Outstanding...
CATHOLIC JUNIOR COLLEGE
Though Inwardbound was engaged to prepare the students for SYF, (the trainer) was able to nurture the students' love for drama and push their creative limits, rather than focusing solely on the competition. He was highly professional. He turned up for all training sessions punctually. He prepares well-planned and sound training programmes and executes them in a manner that benefits all members.
He is sensitive to the feelings of the students when providing feedback on their training progress & performance during competition. Criticism, if any, is not directed at the student, instead it is on the student’s performance. All in all, he managed to build very strong rapport and the students look forward to working with him again, should the opportunity arise.
CLEMENTI TOWN SECONDARY
In 2016, with inwardBOUND's help, I finally saw (the dream of a school musical) materialise. The set was something that took our breaths away.
I am extremely thankful to the Team from inwardBOUND, and most appreciative of all the heart and the great support rendered from blueprint of plan to execution. Thank you so much, for discussing plans for the musical with me, making sure you could deliver what I wanted. I really appreciated that.
Thank you, again, for the amazing collaboration, I have only received endless praise (even from my Principal) and it can only be this way because of inwardBOUND's support.
Thank you for making our dreams come true.
